Monmouth Medical Center Could Spend $650M+ on ‘State-of-the-Art’ NJ Campus

Monmouth Medical Center, part of RWJBarnabas Health, has paid about $8 million to acquire a Trinton Falls, N.J., property from the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority after more than four years of negotiations, per Becker’s.

The property will be home to the Vogel Medical Campus at Tinton Falls. The first phase of construction will include a 138,000-square-foot cancer center and ambulatory care pavilion with surgical services. Plans for a second phase have not been formally outlined, but Monmouth has the discretion to base plans on market demand and the needs of the community.

MMC will create more than 300 jobs during phase one and may create a total of 1,000 jobs after completing phase two. The minimum capital investment for the project is $153.5 million but it may exceed $650 million upon completion of both phases.
