HCA North Florida Hospital Breaks Ground for New ER Facility

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital broke ground Thursday for two new facilities in Gainesville, CBS4 reports.

“It enables us to continue to serve our community in Gainesville. It gives us another location, as well as focusing on innovation and partnership with the Gainesville area,” HCA Florida North Florida Hospital Chief Executive officer Eric Lawson said.

The proposed freestanding HCA Florida Gainesville Emergency will be equipped with 11 beds. Once the emergency facility is completed HCA will begin construction of the 90-bed full service HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital. Read more.
