Charleston Area Medical Center has filed a letter of intent with the West Virginia Health Care Authority to purchase a majority share of Charleston Surgical Hospital (CSH). The transaction will close as soon as possible after the receipt of all necessary regulatory and governance approvals.
The hospital is owned by a group of specialty care physicians, and for decades they have provided inpatient and outpatient surgical services. CAMC has also filed a Letter of Intent with the West Virginia Health Care Authority to purchase the West Virginia OrthoNeuro physician practice. Read more.
