Last month, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that — for the first time ever — it was releasing ownership data for all Medicare-certified home health and hospice agencies.

This move makes it possible for anyone to review information on the ownership of agencies participating in the Medicare program, notes Home Health Care News. This includes over 11,000 home health agencies, according to HHS.
