Officials from Northside Hospital Gwinnett, Physicians Realty Trust and Realty Trust Group broke ground on Northside Medical Buford in Georgia.
The 100,000-square-foot facility is to be built in Lawrenceville, GA.
The new medical office building will bring more outpatient imaging, primary care, cardiology, medical oncology, orthopedics and urgent care facilities to the area.
Northside Hospital also has five urgent care centers in Gwinnett County, including Health Choice Urgent Care centers that opened late last year.
System officials said the projects make good on promises from the merger with Gwinnett Medical Center in 2019. Read more.
