OhioHealth announced that Huntington National Bank has extended its philanthropic support of OhioHealth Wellness on Wheels (WOW) with a $1 million gift that will help to continue to bring essential primary care services to those who otherwise may not have convenient access to care.
The investment will allow for the operations of Wellness on Wheels Primary Care to remain as a community hub, connecting patients to a medical home regardless of their ability to pay and advancing health equity.
With Huntington’s support in 2017, OhioHealth was able to expand WOW to provide primary care services. The program, celebrating 30 years of community care this month, began with a focus on women’s health offering prenatal, postpartum and women’s health services. Read more.
