$10M Investment will Help Chelsea Hospital (MI) Expand its Inpatient Rehab Unit

Chelsea Hospital recently announced a $10-million capital investment to expand its adult inpatient rehabilitation center, M Live reports.

The decision allows University of Michigan Health to consolidate its adult acute rehabilitation service into one spot inside Chelsea Hospital which will be staffed by UM health providers, hospital officials said.

The new rehab unit plans to open in summer 2024 and add 16 beds inside the hospital’s Courtyard West unit, which will be remodeled, officials said. Read more.
