Oma Fertility emerged from stealth with $37.5 million, including $29 million in equity and another $8.5 million in debt financing, per Mobi Health News.
The seed and Series A rounds were led by JAZZ Venture Partners, Root Ventures, Mithril Capital, Global Asset Capital and Free Solo Ventures. The debt facility came from Silicon Valley Bank. The fertility startup’s first product is aimed at identifying the healthiest sperm to improve IVF outcomes.
“Oma Fertility is capitalizing on the opportunity to bring leading-edge technological advancements to the fertility space, meeting the demands of rising infertility rates,” cofounder and CEO Gurjeet Singh said in a statement.
