Alluvion Health, a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center based in Great Falls, announced that it has purchased family nurse practitioner Caralynn Moore’s clinic in Choteau and as of July 1 will be opening a full-time practice here, The Choteau Acantha newspaper reports.
Trista Besich, the chief executive officer of Alluvion Health, said the expansion of services in Choteau reflects Alluvion’s commitment to providing comprehensive care in communities.
Alluvion presently provides health services in Great Falls, Vaughn, Belt and Cascade with the Vaughn, Belt and Cascade office starting as school-centered clinics. Alluvion has operated mobile services as far away as Broadus, Livingston, Butte and Billings, but the purchase of the clinic in Choteau is the organization’s first major expansion outside of school-based services.
