Kovo HealthTech to Acquire The Cvikota Company

Kovo HealthTech, which provides healthcare Billing-as-a-Service (BAAS), plans to acquire The Cvikota Company, a Wisconsin-based medical billing specialist firm.

Cvikota has been in business for more than 50 years, providing SaaS-style billing services for physicians, health providers and healthcare clinics across the United States with offices in Wisconsin and Tennessee.

Kovo will pay $1.375 million at closing, plus a promissory note of $687,500 with 5% annual interest and in January will issue common shares equal to gross receipts for 2021 actually collected from accounts linked to the acquired business, minus the closing payment and the face amount of the note.
