CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) has completed 8 million virtual visits for behavioral health care during 2021, the company disclosed during its Investor Day conference, Behavioral Health Business reports.
The company also recently announced plans to close around 900 stores – around 10% of its physical locations – over the next few years to focus more on virtual offerings.
Overall, CVS projects $304 billion in revenue for 2022, Healthcare Finance reports.
Earlier this year, CVS began a HealthHUB behavioral health pilot program at a dozen of its stores throughout the country, with more being eyed for on-location behavioral health services over time. Read more.
