UnitedHealth Group’s Optum Acquires Refresh Mental Health

UnitedHealth Group health services division Optum acquired Jacksonville Beach-based mental health provider Refresh Mental Health, Axios reports.

New York City-based private equity firm Kelso & Co. sold the business to Optum.

The sale price was not included, although the report shows that Kelso & Co. acquired Refresh Mental Health in a deal that valued the company at about $700 million in December 2020 when it had an estimated $40 million of EBITDA. Read more
