Siemens Healthineers company Varian is acquiring radiology and radiation oncology services provider Aspekt Solutions, the three organizations announced.
Based in Greenbelt, Maryland, the company delivers consulting to radiology departments and imaging centers including expertise in medical physics, dosimetry and strategy. The acquisition will allow Varian to expand its advanced oncology solutions offerings and address rising demand for customized services.
“With Aspekt Solutions, we can support more oncology centers with a holistic approach to addressing today’s challenges while also preparing for the fast-evolving future of cancer care,” said Chuck Lindley, VP of Advanced Oncology Solutions at Varian.
Aspekt has been in business for more than 20 years and also offers staffing solutions, compliance services, technology help including training and planning, and radiation safety assistance, Radiology Business reports. Read more.
