Phoenix Children Hospital plans to open its Specialty Care – Arrowhead Campus Nov. 8 in Glendale, AZ.
The 45,000-square-foot clinic will offer high-demand care in 25 specialties.This includes 10 specialties not previously available in the Northwest Valley, e.g., psychology, neuropsychology, ENT and plastic surgery.
The campus, which will include a full pediatric hospital opening next summer, represents an investment of $195 million, more than 400 jobs and up to 72,000 patient visits each year.
The number of children in the West Valley is expected to grow from 400,000 today to 500,000 in 2030. With that in mind, architectural plans for the Arrowhead Campus were designed to accommodate future growth as community needs arise, reports the Glendale Independent. Read more.
