House Democrats want to add dental benefits to traditional Medicare in seven years as well as coverage for major treatments and preventive services.

Gov. Mike Parson announced $30 million to support Missouri’s health care professionals and system, along with additional mutual aid ambulances to support hospitals across the state.

Arizona invested an additional $60 million to support staffing at healthcare facilities that deploy proven techniques to decrease COVID-19 related hospitalizations.

The consortium works to enhance access to care in underserved rural communities.

The investments will fund the renovation of 26,000-square-feet of ambulatory care space, including more than 50 exam rooms for primary care services, and an upgraded ambulatory radiology suite.

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center received a $589,000 investment from Queens Borough President Donovan Richards to replace five aging ultrasound machines.

"The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on all of us, especially children," said HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra in a statement.

The capital investment will be used for construction of an 80-100 bed facility.

Permits show a $54 million, two-story, 173,200-square-foot outpatient center and a $10.2 million one-story, 29,500-square-foot domiciliary.

The project will provide health services to at-risk populations, including individuals with a substance use disorder, and patients that live in very remote locations.
